Drinking some nasty ass red wine and checking in on Buddyslim

Well, I’m trying to drink some red wine now for the health benefits and the taste is something I’m just not used to.  Maybe with some time I will begin to like it.   I’m only drinking 1/4 cup so it’s no biggie.   Maybe I should pour it into a beer bottle since that’s more my style.  lol.  Fool my brain.  Ha ha!

Good news for me tonight.  I ran 3 miles!  I guess it’s not the most exciting news but it’s always nice to see you still “got it” ya know?  I used to run that alot before and then stopped and would pick it up here and there.  So anytime I can run it now makes me think there is still hope for these lazy bones of mine.

Have a great night buddies.  Let’s now put our feet up and rest.  Ahhhh…and sip on some wine…  :)

I am falling out laughing at your descriptive words regarding the wine. You are hilarious. Unfortunately, I have yet to taste some alcohol I didn’t like. Damn, that’s scarey. Congrats on running three miles. You got skills!

Well good for you on the running…even better news could be that i think they have debunked the thing about red wine being good for you as I read somewhere (I’ll try to find it) that the studies have been flawed in that they included those people who had reduced their intake to one glass per day, and that that alone accounted for the total improvement in health in the overall group.

I’d avoid the nasty-ass stuff anyway LOL

mmmmmmmmmmmm… I used to be a big fan of red wine…. especially Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. But now…. any white pinot grigo… yummy

Riuniti Lambrusco isn’t bad. But seriously, you can get ALL the benefits of red wine by drinking purple grapejuice, so why bother? Suck down a glass of grapejuice and be done with it.

I’m not much of a wine drinker myself.

Hey, congrats on getting 3 miles in.

    You’re doing a great job!
