I Worked Out Period.
It’s more of a statement to my TOM then it is a title.
Yeah TOM, you didn’t hold me back this week. I showed you whose boss on Monday, Tuesday and today. So take off now. Go on, git!
Fellow female Buddieslimmers, I don’t know about the rest of you but I get a sense of satisfaction when I complete a work out during my time of the month. I feel heavier, slower and so moody during that time that I could easily skip my workouts. But it feels so good to not let that part of me win. Makes me feel strong. Like my will is strong.
Maybe I’m making too much of this feeling. I don’t know. It feels good anyway. Just wanted to share. Have a great evening!

Agreed! I always feel satisfaction during my TOM when I complete a workout..
they say it’s really better for u during that time to work out… releases pressure… but to have the will to go, now that deserves a pat on the back…
I remember calling out of work once because I was way to crampy. The gym? whoa!! lol… Good job!

I always feel good about working out through TOM. TOM won’t leave me this week but I am about to kick him to the CURB! You never cease to amaze me with all your running! YOu go girl.

Well, when I WAS having TOM visit on a regular basis, I always felt better working out. My legs always ached really really bad… no cramps, just aching legs. But if I made myself work out, then I felt better all the way around.
NOW, for the last 4 months anyway, I still get the aching legs every month, but Tom doesn’t show. Slap dab right in the middle of menopause. And my metabolism is fighting me every single step of the way. lol
We are boss. We are women. Hear us ROAR!

I love working out during my monthly because it gives me so much energy. For cramps, I practice yoga because it helps ease and sometimes get rid of them in a matter of hours.
I don’t look for any excuse not to exercise. Period or not, it’s on!

Defeat that mean old ugly Tom!!!! Don’t let that Tom bring you down!! I agree it is much harder to get moving and stayed motivated when Tom comes to visit! It’s also very hard to stay on a healthy diet when your craving chocolate and salt ( at least I do) uuhhhhh, how I hate that Tom! Always trying to bring us down, but you go girl, show em whose boss!LOL

Working out while I have my period is a challenge but I like doing it because it really helps with the cramps
