Day one is over. Put a check mark under the happy face column.

One day down and I’m feeling pretty good about it.  I ate very well and avoided the candy on the counter.  I was thinking of throwing it away but decided not to because I wanted to be stronger than the temptation.  But I suggest most people should throw tempting candy away if you do have those bad urges to eat it and if you are just starting your new health plans (it helped me when I first started early last year that’s for sure).  I also worked out tonight even though it was later in the evening.  I walked / ran for 40 minutes and then did weights for 20 minutes.

Now, off to read some blogs!  Have a great night and let’s get through Thursday in the healthiest way possible!

I agree with throwing the candy away. I don’t buy junkfood in my house. My son loves fruit so it works real well!

I have throw it out! I can turn down most candy, but if it is chocolate, I can’t! Even now when I have come this far, it is too tempting!
    Congrats on the good day!
    Have a good one!

I agree with the candy thing. I have candy on my counter but it is nothing I even want. Way to go girl on the workout! Sounds like you started off on the right foot! Let’s keep it that way! WOO HOO!!!

Yes yes yes, dejunk I say. When I started BuddySlim a few months ago, I cleaned out the pantry and fridge of all junk food. I don’t need the temptations..LOL!! but sounds like you did excellent!!! You go girl!!!
Doesn’t it feel good to be on track again (even though you look amazing already) Have a great day!!

I agree with the junk food. I talked to my kids when I started this & let them know we would all be eating better from now on. I am so happy to see them eating apples & bananas rather than the usual chips & candy. :)

Well, luckily Ted eats all the candy, but I usually don’t keep it in the house anymore! I do have some small chocolate squares in the freezer, but that is for when I’m craving real bad. One is only 57 calories, and is just enough! Good job on getting back on track!

Way to start the year out right! HIGH FIVERS!!!

I leave the candy around my house. For the guys mainly. They know that if it doesn’t get eating in a few days it will be thrown away. I try to keep the cookie jar only full for them and not bring other stuff home, but my sugar lovin dad usually has a stash around somewhere. For me, I just have to be diligent and remind myself how bad I will feel physically if I even start to go down the sugar path. it does a real number on me cause I can’t just have one… I have to have em all. I guess that’s the one major lesson about myself that I learned in 2007. I’m a sugar addict. Should make for a better 2008 with that knowledge in my arsenal now. LOL

Huggggggggggggggggs and I think you are doing splendily,
    Shan
