I kicked butt! You hear that Erica from the UK?

Well, last Tuesday I wrote a blog that explained I usually ran 3 miles but that I had decided to up it and run 4 and I had done it. Well, my buddy Erica from the UK (fellow Wild Cat) went even further and ran 4 1/2 miles and challenged me to beat that. Well, not only did I beat it, I ran 5 miles! I feel so great doing it! I’m thrilled that I did it! In January I was that girl that would get out of breath doing laundry and now I’m the girl that can run 5 miles! This is awesome for me!

Erica, I half hate you for challenging me and I half love you for challenging me. Just don’t even bother challenging me again. I’m done. Even Wonder Woman has her limits.

Running my tush off!

I have great news for me! Usually, I run 3 miles as my workout but today I was going to push it another 1/2 mile. So I did it! And not only that, but I kept on running and ran for a total of 4 miles!   I ran at a pace of 11 minutes per mile which for me is awesome! And the thing is, I think I could have kept on running. I stayed at 3 miles because it was working for me and I didn’t want to increase it but then my buddy Erica (fellow Wild Cat) put the thought in my head to go further and I did. And, I did even better than I thought I could. I guess I just didn’t think I could do it at all.   I guessed wrong.

Repeat after me

I will stay on my diet.

Well, I finally have some good news. C’mon, share it with me.

Hi Buddies!

I’m a mess, my diet is a mess and blah blah blah

Well, I don’t know how to start this so I will just jump in.

I left the 160’s!! Did you hear me!!! I’m 158!

Hi Buddies!  This week I have lost 2 pounds so far.  I am now out of the 160’s and in the 150’s!!!!

I feel so good and I wanted to share the news!!!

So close to the 150’s that I can taste it…

I was pretty sick all last week to so I couldn’t work out.  I had a bad cold, allergies, hives from the medicine’s I was taking.  Awful.  So this week I finally had the chance to get back on track.  My allergies are still bothering me but I’m not going to let that hold me back.  I usually run at the gym but this time I decided to go to the track since my gym was closed on Memorial Day and I loved it.  It felt harder.  And you can hear your breathing better outside too.  Something feels really good about running outside.  Feels a little harder.  At the gym you have music and tv’s on and the machines are going.  But, outside, you can hear your breathing.  It just feels good. Feels like you are really working.  I may not do it forever outside, but I like the change for now.

I got on the scale today and I am 160.  I am so close to reaching the 150’s!  I am so excited.  Not jumping for joy excited but more like eyeing a Christmas present excited. Where you just wait patiently for the day to come excited so you can open the present.  Oh, I can’t wait.

I hope everyone does well with their goals too.  Keep a positive attitude, try and do your workouts whether your having a good or bad day and pick yourself up if you fall behind.  Good luck to everyone!  We can all succeed!
