I’m losing weight, but I’m still fat.

Do you ever do well on your diet and workouts, lose weight and feel good and think your making progress?

Totally agree, I feel like that frequently.  Good for you keeping up the running and eating.  It is good just to get off your chest.

Hey, next time that little devil comes in, just look at your ticker. … WOW! You’re out of the 200s! In my book that is excellent! You are doing great, and once you get rid of that other 50 you can be the one laughing in that little devel’s face.

I don’t know about you, but I have no desire to be like 100 pounds. … The girls I have known that were under 120 all seemed so weak and breakable or something. … But that could just be my opinion. And I guess that to a point it also depends on how tall you are.

Ok, the kid’s finally to bed (only 2 1/2 hours late) and it’s cold in here so I guess I’ll join her. Sweet dreams Wonder Woman :)

Ya I feel like that Tuesday I was doing the circut and then on the track walking my 2 miles and I said to myself you look great You are looking thin, it was the most wonderful feeling I had in a long time.  Then it was time for the Salsa Class and I saw myself in the mirror I looked like a whale.  Darn for a minute I actually thought I was thin.

Well it is OK I am feeling the muscles in my tummy tighten so that is progress I don’t look like it yest but you better bet I am become who I want to be.

Ok so tonight I made it to the gym again you have really motivated me Thank Yo Soo Much!  Tonight was 15 minutes on the bikes, 1 hour circut training and only 1 mile on the track.  I had planned on walking 2 more miles after the sauna and pool.  Well the pool water was cold to cold for me to attempt it I when in the wril pool for a while and stretched my tired muscles and the man told me to move to the spot where he was at because they had a stron jet and it would help and he was moving to a lighter location so I moved in and it was aimed at my lower back which felt good then my son joined me from his first work out and I gave him the spot.

Tommorrow I will go back for another light workout skip Satuday and then big workout on Sunday cause I have a weight in on Monday.

    UGH!! I DO I DO I DO!!!

I have lost 60 pounds, feel and look better then I have in 15 years! Yet by all “Professional” standards, I am still OBESE…

    UGH!!!

I was REALLY depressed about this a few weeks back and even blogged about it…

Then I read a blurb in a weight loss magazine that said BMI is not an accurate measuring tool either…And that by the BMI standards both Arnold Schwarnegger (Sp?) and Brad Pitt are overweight…Because BMI does not take into account muscle mass, just like the scale does not!!!

So that made me feel a bit better…

But yes, I have had that thought too…

I have come soooo far, yet have soooo far to go…GOOD GRIEF!

    Dawn
